I saw this gown featured in Millia London's 2023 Bridal Collection and had a whole vision of it fitting perfectly styled into the Historical Society. A dream garden style gown with ruffles and full body, the gown is almost weightless compared to its large presence. Our groom David actually wore his attire from the couples' own recent wedding from just months prior, which fit in beautifully. Visit the blog to hear more about the vendors and take a look below into the details of this labor of love with Cleveland & London's best.

A genuine thank you to all the couples from all the years who have trusted me to document their love and invited me in their memories.

How will we receive our photos?

All deliverable images are uploaded into a beautiful online gallery and are set up to be displayed as a timeline going through your whole day in sections, from start to finish. The gallery will stay accessible via the same email link for at least one year.

From there you can (and should) download the whole gallery into a backup file to keep safe — think Google Drive, the Cloud, USB, etc. You can also download individual photos to your phone, tablet, or computer, in high res (for printing, more detail, larger image) or low res (generally for sharing on some socials).

While you can absolutely take your images to any printer of your choosing, your gallery also has a built in store. With tons of products like loose prints, albums, ornaments, canvases, framed prints, boxed prints and more — all purchased items are sent directly to your address, cutting out the middle man. I highly encourage printing your images, and because of that there are no markups in your store pricing.

All gallery store prices are what it would cost me to order from the lab, as a way to thank you for giving those images life in your homes and to pass down color matched and quality products.

How long does it take to get our photos back?

Previews get sent out within 24 hours.

Final gallery delivery for a wedding is guaranteed within 30 days, but during peak months (August - October) that moves to 45 days to accommodate the rise in busy season.

Portrait sessions hold steady at 1-2 weeks all year long.

Should we make a photo shot list?

The only list I'll need is family groupings, outside of immediate family members, in your last pre-wedding questionnaire. Everyone's family set-up is unique & I don't know your important people so this helps me keep track.

Otherwise, we will have discussed your vision for the wedding and the vibe of the day well in advance, so I'll know what look we're aiming for & be able to really capture who you are together!

Down to

the little details

How much is due at signing?

There is a standard, non-refundable retainer of 30% to obtain the date and solidify the booking. This will be subtracted from your total collection amount once paid.

The remaining balance of the package is due by 30 days before the event. All payments are made online in your client portal! Just access the original proposal document or click on the link in the payment reminder email. All major credit/debit cards are accepted.

What goes into destination travel fees?

Great question! Travel fees generally involve one or more of three elements: Flight. Lodging. Rental Car.

The amount included in the collection is based off of knowledge of current year's average travel expenses when shooting out of state for those three elements, although rounded down to the lowest common amount - rest assured, any upgrades are on my own accord.

Are
you
insured?

Are you insured?

I have insurance on my gear and myself — meaning I have insurance to show venues when needed (protects them against my actions) and I have insurance on the off chance a lens is destroyed mid-wedding day (it has been!) so that you're not liable for those damages just because it happened during your event!

Obviously if a client ever purposefully caused destruction of my or my assistant's photo gear then they would be responsible for the damages, but thanks to the gracious and kind humans I work with that has never been an issue.

What does full day & multi day coverage really mean?

Full Day Coverage gives us the freedom to form the perfect photo timeline unique to your day. We aren't trying to squish an 11 hour day into an 8 hour timeline or get rid of documenting something you are looking forward to all for the sake of fitting it in — "full day coverage" means your entire story.

Generally, I get there about an hour and a half-ish before everyone is dressed and ready. Details, getting ready, first looks and/or portraits, that sort of flow. Then we have your ceremony, any leftover portraits, and your reception. The day ends after the last reception event is covered!

If you're opting for Multi Day/Multi Event Coverage, that means you're getting that Full Day Coverage on the wedding day as well as both me and my second photographer at your other events as well, say if you're blending multi cultural weddings or if your traditional weddings occur over multiple days.

This coverage also works so well with destination wedding where we're inviting the friends and family to a welcome party perhaps and hosting a wedding weekend celebration. Think: Arrival, welcome party, rehearsal, wedding day, post wedding farewell brunch/afternoon board games with the fam.

If you'd like to simply add on rehearsal dinner/party coverage to your single day wedding coverage, let me
know in your inquiry as that is a simple flat fee add-on of $500-$800 and does not require a planner.

Do we have a choice in what is shared?

Your privacy is very very important to me. That's why I've included a section in everyone's contract that must be initialed off before signing and booking with me. You can choose to:
  • Allow sharing images on my website, socials, marketing, publishing, etc
  • Allow sharing only images from the couple's and wedding party portrait portions of the day
  • Allow me to show someone examples directly and privately to be able to showcase a venue or example needed in a discussion topic, but no posting them publicly or submitting for publishing
  • Opt to keep your gallery 100% private and between you two and those you share it with (there is still a link you can use to share it with your chosen people)

OF COURSE I would love to share the moving moments and sweet portraits we capture during your day, I'm always so proud of you and them! But your comfort and preference matters, so I'm always so grateful when I'm able to show the world what we can do with love and light.

First Things First

After you book, you will receive a questionnaire that helps me get to know you as a couple and plan the vibe of the engagement shoot with you.

From the engagement sesh?

What can we expect

Time Allotted

Location(s)

1-2 hours, depending on locations and general flow — I want to give you time to be yourselves and get comfy. More time = more genuine moments.

Both destination and local sessions are done outside or in a rented studio space depending on the plans we're discussing for the overall feel.

Outfits

Bring what makes you feel confident and beautiful and we'll choose two or three outfits max! We just don't want to spend too much time changing.

Time of Day

Style of Photos

When scheduling your session in the calendar, I recommend either two hours before sunset or just before sunrise. Don't write off the morning!

I really find when people engage each other, find movement, laughter and close, still comfortable moments we get more natural, genuine photos.

Can we still achieve your natural, editorial feel if we're a little nervous in front of the camera?

I love this question because you've found what you're drawn to, what you can see your wedding remembered as, but maybe you're wondering if you have to be naturally outgoing, super expressive people on the spot to get that emotional, one-for-the-ages look you're loving.

Sound familiar? WELP, good news friends, it has nothing to do with being outgoing. We'll chat a lot before we ever get you in front of the camera -- the way we feel most comfortable is when we're most heard, seen and understood. During your engagement sesh it's like one big hang out session. We're vibing, getting to know each other

other more while intentionally creating an atmosphere that enhances and honors who you are together in a super comfortable way. There's light guidance and direction at times, but we aren't going in for stiff or unnatural poses. Your body language will tell me all I need to know about how hands on or off to be!

No matter how beautiful an image is our brains will always remember what isn't true to us or is uncomfortable. That's why it has always been my number one goal to get you two in sync with each other in a way that you can relax and be yourself.

Once your wedding day is here, it'll be like rejoining an old friend in the room and you'll be able to focus completely on your loved ones and marrying that sweet partner of yours.

Are you a LGBTQIA+ & BIPOC friendly vendor?

YES, yes, yes, yes. A thousand times yes. I want you to bring your love and all that comes with it and celebrate the shit out of it. I welcome all types of people and loves to come my way.

I know that it's a hard time in this world to find someone to amplify everyone's love equally. While I have only had the honor of photographing a small amount of couples that identify this way so far, it is absolutely not for lack of supporting each and every one of you. Love is the only thing that matters here and I genuinely hope to showcase more of these couples in the future so more people can find their representation in my work while searching for their wedding vendor.

You are all so loved and supported here in this place!
